The Aglaura Public Library is your library. The reason we exist is for you. This is your house - come home. Come read with us, learn with us, teach us, play with us, listen to us, talk to us, and be with us. Most of all, come have fun with us.

My dear neighbors, friends, and compatriots,

It is with great pride that I ascend to my position as the new head librarian of the Aglaura Public Library. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Sarah Wyatt, and I have lived in this area all my life. I am an artist by nature, working in media ranging from pen and paper to clay sculpture, and many other types besides.

I am completely dedicated to the Library, and consider myself a true civil servant. My job here will be to make the Library your special place. We are named the Public Library for a reason - it is a public space and should be used as such! Not only should a library be a sanctum where you can go and check out a book, but it should be the cultural hub of the community, bringing together books and art and music and learning for all the town. I have some wonderful plans in that regard!

Additionally, I am absolutely dedicated to the Aglaura region. This is my home; this is where my heart lives and has lived and will always live. I am sure so many of you feel the same way. Work with me to keep Aglaura special and beautiful. Come down to the Library and check out a book or four about local history and learn just how unique our area is. I can rightfully say that we might just have the most interesting town history in America.

So please - the next time you are in the Library, stop by the front desk and ask for me. I want to meet each and every soul who has a Library card and hear from you personally about what I can do in order to keep you coming back.

Much love,
Sarah Wyatt
