All over the country there are towns where people used to live, love, and die. They built their houses and dreams in these places. Some people never left their town their whole life. And in some places, the only inhabitants left are the dead.
You might call them "Ghost Towns," or "Forgotten Towns," or "Abandoned," or "Corpse Towns," or any other of the multiple names given to these cities which have just faded away. I call them Mystery Towns, and I collect their stories.
Why should you be interested in them? That's not for me to say. I can tell you what draws me to them - the history, the artifacts, the whispers of stories which might never be told. Exploring these places is not quite as voyeuristic as looking through someone's windows and not quite as morbid as rambling through a cemetery.
